Qualifications

• Demonstrated managerial experience with strong customer service.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Basic accounting and record-keeping knowledge.
• Experience liaising with the USFS on operations.
• Supervise seasonal hosts and support staff.
• Effective communication with the public.
• Able to multitask across projects with tight deadlines.
• Good physical stamina for daily walking and lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Experience operating or supervising use of groundskeeping equipment.
• Understand campground operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-functioning relationship with the United States Forest Service Team on the Appalachian Ranger District.
• Manage, train, and supervise seasonal hosts, including scheduling for daily operations.
• Train hosts to meet FIND's standards for site management and interpretation.
• Monitor staff interaction with the public to ensure exceptional visitor experiences and address complaints.
• Register guests and collect fees.
• Oversee sales outlet operations in coordination with FIND HQ.
• Ensure routine grounds and facilities maintenance, including bathrooms and signage.
• Address hazards, graffiti, and cleanliness; maintain signage and walkways.
• Coordinate repairs with FIND Facilities and Operations Director and Campground Operations Manager.
• Adhere to annual budgets and maintain vehicular access, parking, and walkways.
