Mediacom Communications is seeking a Supervisor, Technical Operations in Gulf Shores, AL to lead CATV technical staff, ensure high-quality service, and oversee system maintenance. The role emphasizes training, scheduling, and troubleshooting to meet regulatory standards.

The position requires 5+ years in advanced CATV tech roles, strong electronics knowledge, and the ability to climb, lift heavy loads, and work flexible hours including on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience as an advanced technician with familiarity with all CATV technical jobs.
• Advanced electronics training, including RF test equipment and transmission line theories and analytical techniques.
• Aptitude with mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• May require climbing poles and working at heights.
• Able to lift 50-100 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Willing to work flexible hours, on-call 24/7, and have good communication skills.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate and supervise technical staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair cable system; respond to customer inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with CLI, FCC, and OSHA standards.
• Oversee new construction for technical compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
