Job summary

Ho-Chunk, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Cable Foreman to supervise a crew performing copper and data cable installations, terminations, and testing. You will read plans, meet deadlines, and ensure work adheres to safety standards and customer specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage on-site activities, coordinate with trades, and maintain quality throughout phases of projects in the NCR region where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Cable Foreman or 3 years as Senior Installer.
• Safety leadership for crew and public; follow all safety practices.
• Experience supervising day-to-day operations to meet goals and customer requirements.
• Daily reporting of time, production and as-builds.

Responsibilities

• Cabling and conduit services
• Lead technicians and installers to complete their tasks and responsibilities.
• Upgrade and replacement of systems on a scheduled basis
• Installation of new systems
• Moves, adds, changes, and disconnects for voice and data services
• Manage and maintain computer equipment rooms in the NCR region
• Process configuration updates based on service changes
• Procure equipment, materials, and supplies for operations and maintenance
• Support and completion of projects
• Onsite project activities including managing a crew to meet milestones and budgets
• Follow safe work practices and policies
• Read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specs and cut-sheets
• Maintain security compliance
• Deliver milestones and manage crew productivity
• Maintain good relationships with customers and onsite trades
• Assist with other duties as assigned
