Job summary

Strong Tower Partners seeks a hands-on IT Systems Manager to own and evolve the business systems landscape. You will drive the strategy, optimize ERP/CRM/e-commerce platforms, and lead data warehouse initiatives while collaborating with executives across Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Customer Service.

The role focuses on solving complex problems, building integrations, and delivering scalable technology solutions for a growing organization without heavy immediate team needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience administering and optimizing an ERP platform, ideally Sage 100 or a comparable mid-market ERP.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
• Experience with e-commerce/POS platforms; Shopify experience is a plus.
• Strong experience with SaaS applications, system integrations, APIs, workflow automation, implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
• Experience working across multiple departments and directly with senior executives.
• Understanding of data architecture, data warehouses, BI/reporting, and enterprise-wide integrations.
• Ability to evaluate technology from both a technical and business perspective.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the company's business systems and technology roadmap.
• Own and optimize the organization's ERP, CRM, e-commerce, AP automation, fleet/operations, and other SaaS platforms.
• Current environment includes Sage 100, Shopify, Stampli, HubSpot, Samsara, and other business applications.
• Design and improve integrations between systems using APIs, middleware, automation tools, and other technologies.
• Lead the development of the company's data warehouse, reporting, and BI infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, eliminate manual work, improve data integrity, strengthen controls, and reduce technology costs.
• Lead software evaluations, selections, implementations, migrations, upgrades, and major system enhancements.
• Establish governance around permissions, user access, MFA, data protection, change management, and system ownership.
• Manage technology vendors, consultants, contracts, licensing, subscriptions, renewals, and service providers.
• Translate business needs into practical technology solutions, workflows, dashboards, reports, and system improvements.
• Manage technology projects from scope through implementation and adoption.
• Create documentation, training, and processes that enable the organization to scale.
