Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Business Solutions Consultant to lead research and requirements analysis, shaping what the Development team will build or enhance. You will drive the requirements lifecycle from gathering through to release with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes understanding insurance products, data gathering, and crafting concise specifications to solve business challenges, while collaborating across teams in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

3+ years in financial services or insurance roles.
2+ years gathering and writing business requirements for life or annuity products.
Knowledge of life or annuity products and insurance.
Industry certifications and/or licenses preferred.
Understanding of Agile or Waterfall SDLC.

Responsibilities

Refine documentation for clarity and completeness.
Analyze customer requests to assess system impacts and tradeoffs.
Gather data from multiple sources to develop solutions.
Identify and analyze problems and recommend solutions.
Elicit customer requirements through reviews and walkthroughs.
Develop clear specifications with appropriate detail.
