Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Lead Business Data Analyst to elevate the analytics function nationwide in the United States. You will recruit, mentor, and develop analysts while shaping data-driven strategies for customers and internal stakeholders.

You will standardize processes, design reporting solutions, build predictive models, and drive continuous improvement across sectors and sites with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of analytics experience.
• Excellent database management and data-mining skills, including understanding of SQL.
• Experience with programming or coding (Python, Java, VB, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Improve the analytics department's quality and value.
• Recruit, train, and develop analysts under the program hierarchy.
• Coordinate analytics across sector and site resources to share best practices.
• Design, develop, and implement data gathering and reporting methods for Operations.
• Monitor existing tools to ensure actionable insights are driven.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to implement effective models and relevant software access.
• Coordinate with Operations Systems to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Investigate and recommend new technologies and information systems.
• Follow continuous improvement to optimize analytics value across the team.
• Recruit, select and train Business Data Analysts and Sr. Business Data Analysts.
• Perform mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews.
• Support quarterly succession planning with path to future roles.
• Communicate complex findings to influence action.
• Coordinate with ILD on customer solution modeling.
• Develop predictive models to drive decision making.
