Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Lead Business Data Analyst in the United States to drive analytics excellence, recruit and mentor analysts, and develop data-driven solutions across the organization. The role emphasizes standardization of processes, optimization through advanced models and cross-functional collaboration to maximize analytic value.

The position requires extensive analytics experience, SQL expertise, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or VB.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of analytics experience.
• Excellent database management and data-mining skills, including understanding of SQL.
• Experience with programming or coding (Python, Java, VB, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality and value of the analytics department.
• Recruit, train, and develop analysts under the program hierarchy.
• Coordinate analytics community across sector and site resources to share best practices.
• Design, develop, and implement data gathering and reporting methods for Operations.
• Monitor existing tools to ensure actionable insights are driven from their use.
• Collaborate with Operations Systems group to address technical issues promptly.
• Develop predictive models to help drive decision making.
