Job summary

The University of Chicago Career Advancement program seeks a Career Advisor to guide undergraduate students in business and finance. You will provide one-on-one advising, design workshops, and coordinate events that connect students with employers and alumni, helping them stand out in competitive markets.

Reporting to the Office of Career Advancement, you will analyze data, prepare reports, and support program administration including Salesforce tracking and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience advising students or recent graduates in career planning.
• Ability to develop and deliver programs for business and finance career readiness.
• Strong coaching, counseling, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise a cohort of undergraduate students on career paths in business and finance.
• Source internships and full-time opportunities through employer outreach.
• Plan and run workshops, events, and career readiness activities.
• Coordinate with employers and alumni to expand student opportunities.
• Track student engagement and outcomes using Salesforce.
• Prepare annual reports and program updates for donors and leadership.
