Job summary

Southern Company is seeking an experienced leader to drive Business Architecture and Process Management across the Enterprise Foundations footprint. You will guide a team of Business & Process Architects, prioritize work with Enterprise Process Owners, and partner with business leaders to improve process performance with established standards, tools, and practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in BPM, process improvement, operational excellence, business analysis, business architecture, or related areas.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, including employee development, coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and hiring.
• Experience leading cross-functional efforts in a complex business environment.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and competing business needs.
• Experience facilitating process reviews, process improvement efforts, stakeholder discussions, and working sessions.
• Experience supporting business and technology change initiatives.
• Demonstrated track record of producing accurate, high-quality work products in detail-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand for Business Architecture and Process Management services across assigned business areas and align resources with organizational priorities.
• Partner with Business Process Managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and support process improvement and performance opportunities.
• Build and manage relationships with business and technology leaders to support operations of the BPM team.
• Lead delivery of BPM services, including process reviews, assessments, and improvement efforts.
• Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to evaluate performance and develop improvement recommendations.
• Lead complex or enterprise-wide BPM efforts requiring significant stakeholder engagement.
• Apply BPM practices to support initiatives, organizational change, technology implementations and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of BPM professionals and delivery resources.
• Establish capacity plans, workload forecasts, staffing recommendations, and related reporting.
