Job summary

First American is seeking a Manager, Business Analysis to lead a high-performing team of BAs/BSAs across product and transformation programs. You will align business goals with systems, mentor analysts, and drive agile delivery while partnering with senior leadership to ensure successful outcomes.

Ideal candidate has strong leadership, BA management experience, and expertise across the full product lifecycle, including digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Certifications: CBAP or IIBA Certifications, PBA, Agile certifications a plus.
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead BA or Business Analysis Manager with supervisory duties.
• Strong people leadership capabilities with an ability to influence and inspire change.
• Experience on major digital transformation programs in complex environments as Senior BA/BSA.
• Experience in an Agile development environment with business, product and engineering teams.
• Knowledge of software/product development lifecycle and system integrations.
• Strong communicator with ability to present and collaborate with management level partners.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Analysts across product teams.
• Collaborate with business, technology and external partners to identify needs and provide analysis support.
• Lead analysis to document requirements and represent the division on major programs.
• Mentor team and apply best practices across the lifecycle from discovery to production support.
• Create and maintain documentation (user stories, business rules, data validation, API analysis).
• Partner with business, product, design, and engineering teams including offshore staff.
• Set team goals and allocate analysis resources; participate in hiring and performance reviews.
• Provide guidance on gap analysis, solution options, testing, and implementation.
• Present insights to leadership to inform roadmaps and budgets.
