Job summary

First American is seeking a Manager, Business Analysis to lead a high‑performing team of BAs/BSAs within the division, aligning business goals with systems and guiding agile delivery. You will mentor staff, oversee requirements and documentation, and partner with product, engineering, and design to ensure successful transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• CBAP or IIBA, PBA certifications are a plus.
• Lead BA or Business Analysis Manager with supervisory duties.
• Strong people leadership and change influence.
• Experience on major digital transformation programs in complex environments.
• Experience in Agile development, collaborating with business, product and engineering teams.
• Knowledge of software/product development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of system integrations and supporting technologies.
• Excellent communication with management level partners.
• Experience with BA and BSA methodologies and industry standards.
• Knowledge of Title insurance and settlement operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and ensure analysis support.
• Lead analysis to document business and functional requirements on key initiatives.
• Mentor the team in best practices across the product/software lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain analysis documentation (user stories, requirements, APIs, rules).
• Partner with business and technology teams to support rollouts and roadmaps.
