Job summary

JLL’s The Campus at Marlborough is seeking a Lead Operating Engineer to oversee operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems on a 535,000-square-foot Class A office campus in Marlborough, MA.

This on-site role requires 3–5 years of related experience, EPA certification, OSHA 10, and a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation range.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect and maintain mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment.
• Assist in supervision and implementation of preventative maintenance.
• Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and handle tenant service requests.
• Provide training and supervision to expand the Engineering team.
• Support on-call or emergency response situations.
• Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls.
• Comply with safety procedures and participate in ongoing training.
• Undertake other assigned projects and tasks.
