Job summary

Exelon in Rockville, MD is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to oversee daily operation and maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring reliable, safe environments for our teams.

You will perform tests, repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and life safety systems; supervise contractors; document work orders; and contribute to energy efficiency and safety programs.

Qualifications

• DC/MD boiler engineer licenses required; obtain missing state license within 1 year of hire.
• Special license in electrical maintenance and repair work is required.
• Universal CFC certificate.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform tests, maintenance, repairs and replacements within HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire life safety scopes.
• Oversee building systems and building automation, energy management, HVAC, electrical and plumbing procedures.
• Inspect structures, review contractor work, and manage work orders.
