Job summary

Colliers is seeking an Assistant Chief to oversee maintenance and repair of a class A commercial property. You will supervise technicians, direct vendors, and ensure safe, efficient operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and control systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and monitor equipment performance. Strong leadership, reporting, and collaboration with the Property Manager are essential for preserving asset value.

Qualifications

• AA degree or technical school certification with 4+ years in commercial mechanical systems.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel.
• EPA universal refrigeration certificate preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Client's Representative.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance of HVAC, boilers, chillers, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Organize, monitor, and supervise maintenance and repair activities for a class A property.
• Direct vendors and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building systems.
• Monitor and analyze building systems data to assure proper operation.
• Maintain records of work and assist with budgets and owner reporting.
