Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Building Supervisor for a data center, serving as the on‑site authority for post execution, officer performance, and real‑time coordination. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with site procedures, and support staffing needs across all posts.

The role requires supervising 15–20+ officers, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multi‑shift coverage in a fast‑paced security environment at a data center site.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Proven experience supervising and managing a crew in security/public safety.
• Ability to manage a multi‑shift team in a high‑security environment.
• Proficient with Outlook, Teams, Quip, Chime, Slack, and Microsoft Forms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure.
• Familiarity with data center environments or large construction projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations for the building, including perimeter and internal posts.
• Directly supervise 15–20+ security officers with coaching and performance management.
• Manage daily schedules, address call‑offs, and fill open shifts for coverage.
• Communicate updates to Campus Supervisor and Account Manager.
• Conduct post checks and audits for compliance with site procedures.
• Track operational metrics and document via Outlook, Teams, Quip, and Forms.
• Prepare daily end‑of‑shift reports on activities and incidents.
• Respond to alarms and incidents per protocol and escalate when needed.
• Administer corrective actions up to written warnings and termination tickets.
• Ensure officers meet compliance and site expectations.
• Be a working supervisor across posts and shifts.
• Maintain visibility by scheduling across all shifts.
• Report safety violations and near misses with investigations.
• Verify officers are equipped and aware of emergency procedures.
• Maintain professional interactions with client personnel and visitors.
• Escalate incidents per Post Orders and company policies.
• Network with client contacts and SMEs to support operations.
