Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Building Supervisor for a data center, leading daily security operations and ensuring compliance with site procedures.

You will act as on-site authority for post execution, officer performance, and real-time coordination, reporting to the Campus Supervisor. The role includes supervising 15–20 officers, managing schedules, handling incidents, and coordinating with the Campus Supervisor and Account Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Proven experience supervising and managing a crew in security/public safety.
• Ability to manage a multi-shift team in a high-security environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Quip, Chime, Slack, and Forms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with data center environments or large construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations for the assigned building.
• Directly supervise 15–20+ security officers, providing coaching and performance management as needed.
• Manage daily schedules and fill open shifts to maintain post coverage.
• Communicate schedule updates and concerns to Campus Supervisor and Account Manager.
• Conduct post checks and audits to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Track operational metrics and submit documentation through Outlook, Teams, Quip, Microsoft Forms, and Chime.
• Complete daily end-of-shift reports documenting activities and incidents.
• Respond to alarm activations and security incidents per protocol.
• Administer corrective actions up to written warnings and termination tickets when warranted.
• Ensure officers meet compliance standards and site expectations.
• Serve as a working supervisor across posts and shifts as needed.
• Maintain a flexible schedule for visibility across shifts.
• Report safety violations and incidents promptly; coordinate with HR for investigations.
• Ensure officers are equipped and aware of emergency procedures.
