Job summary

Lilly is building a next-generation Building Management System (BMS) at a Richmond, VA site to support a GMP manufacturing expansion. The Principal Automation Engineer will design and deliver BMS platforms, collaborating with A&E firms, system integrators, and Lilly IT to ensure robust software/hardware solutions and successful startup.

Expect involvement in design, testing, startup, commissioning, and qualification, with a focus on safety, quality, and scalability as the site enters full GMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in Building Management or Building Automation Systems.
• Previous large project/program experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.
• Lilly will not provide sponsorship for visas.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver BMS platforms and associated system integration.
• Collaborate with A&E firms, system integrators, and IT for software/hardware design and testing.
• Develop site procedures for BMS and administration activities.
• Provide technical oversight during BMS development and design reviews.
• Support startup, commissioning, and qualification to GMP standards.
