Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Chief Building Engineer Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for a facility, campus, or portfolio. The role oversees planning, coordination, and ongoing repair work in a demanding facilities environment.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, mentor employees, and ensure adherence to CBRE standards while delivering reliable facility services across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• 5–8 years of job-related experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track the training and development of staff; conduct performance evaluations and coaching opportunities; oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities; set work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and monitor deadlines.
• Develop, implement and communicate preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Ensure mechanics and technicians have information and materials to complete work on time and to a high quality.
