M-M Properties in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead Building Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operations of a landmark downtown high-rise. You will work directly for building ownership and lead a team responsible for reliability and safety of all building systems.

Qualifications include state licenses and a minimum of five years in building maintenance, with strong leadership, planning, and communication skills. The role offers full benefits and growth in a prestigious downtown property.

Formación

• 5+ years in building maintenance, preferably in high-rise buildings.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in using maintenance software.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Chief and Assistant Chief in overseeing and managing building maintenance and operations.
• Manage various maintenance and operational projects.
• Work collaboratively with others and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Ensure all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are functioning optimally.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Supervise and mentor our team of Building engineers.
• Coordinate contractor and vendor activities as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities and help prepare reports for ownership.
