Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Building Engineer III in Pleasanton, CA to lead day-to-day facilities maintenance and a small team of technicians. You’ll manage preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs with multiple trades, and ensure safety and compliance across building systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with trade school diploma or five years related experience.
• Five+ years as building engineer, supervisor, or lead technician in commercial environments.
• Ability to read electrical, plumbing, and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of building and electrical codes and safety practices.
• Valid driver's license and physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 1–2 in-house maintenance technicians and contractors in PM programs and repairs.
• Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Respond to emergencies, assign technicians, and manage safety/compliance.
• Develop statements of work, monitor contractors, and ensure quality.
• Maintain and use CMMS data (Corrigo) for records and reporting.
