Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a BAS technical lead to oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise Building Automation System projects, from engineering through commissioning. You will drive major BAS initiatives, standardization, and technical solutions to improve HVAC and electrical performance while coordinating with facilities, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of BAS, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems OR advanced degree.
Experience with BAS design, installation, commissioning, and training.
Excellent mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems)

Responsibilities

Review/mark-up drawings, specifications, and equipment/system designs for BAS projects at Medtronic sites.
Manage and/or provide oversight on small to moderately sized BAS-related projects or milestones within larger projects, from concept through execution.
Manage financial aspects of BAS projects/initiatives including drafting and submitting RFP/bid documents, creating/tracking purchase orders, and capital expenditure requests.
Create, review, and execute project commissioning documents.
Lead continuous improvement of, adherence to, and modifications of Medtronic BAS Standards and SOP’s.
Independently sets objectives aimed at completing assigned tasks/projects.
