Job summary

LONG Building Technologies is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee the full lifecycle of Building Automation/Temperature Controls projects. You will coordinate planning, design, procurement, and workforce allocation to meet customer specifications and deadlines.

You will work with a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager and travel to job sites as needed, ensuring timely and economical execution while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4 years of construction management degree preferred. May have a 2-year technical degree and 2 years of temperature controls experience (OR) 5 years of Commercial HVAC project management (OR) 6 years of temperature controls experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, building automation, electrical systems, energy management and related construction procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and project scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather and maintain equipment submittals and project documents.
• Ensure project contract documentation is up to date and accurate.
• View and analyze job reports using company tools.
• Recognize changes to scope, schedule, and workforce impacts.
• Monitor costs and notify when costs exceed estimates.
• Schedule personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to meet requirements.
• Travel to and inspect job sites and customer locations.
• Complete projects per proposals, drawings, and specifications within timeframes.
