Job summary

Precision Control Systems is seeking a project manager to oversee complex building automation projects, primarily for public entities in Illinois and Indiana. The role involves guiding the team to ensure on-time completion within budget and supporting the construction team in all aspects of design and installation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in construction management or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.

Responsibilities

Understand engineering concepts for mechanical and electrical controls; value engineer to better serve the customer.
Review plans and specifications, understand HVAC design intent.
Coordinate with engineers, electricians, and programming technicians.
Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team.
Manage delivery of equipment and materials to job sites; track costs and monthly billings.
Coordinate with stakeholders including architects, engineers, owners, and other contractors.
