Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to oversee on-site commissioning of building automation systems, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with engineers and PMs to deliver precise, turnkey projects.

You will own field calls, troubleshoot complex issues, and train owners/operators on complete systems, ensuring reliable performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC or technical field.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by company.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using Direct Digital Control technology.
• Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers on all field tools and technology.
• Serve as local contact for technical issues.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects.
• Ensure systems operate properly, including controls, sensors, and software.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Provide site‑specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.
