Job summary

OFS Global Energy Solutions in Brownsville, TX seeks an experienced Project Controller to support a major gas turbine relocation project. You will manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and change orders, coordinating with project managers and field teams to stay on schedule and within contract requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in project controls within power/industrial environments, proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, advanced Excel, and a track record of accurate reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls within power generation, energy, oil & gas, EPC, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience managing change orders and contract variations on construction, installation, or maintenance projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, earned value management, forecasting, and contract administration.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor integrated project schedules for mobilization, disassembly, transport, installation, commissioning, and demobilization.
• Track progress, labor hours, equipment utilization, and subcontractor performance.
• Manage the full change order process, including scope changes and forecast updates.
• Monitor budgets, actual costs, commitments, and estimates to complete.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and variance analyses.
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Support contract administration, procurement coordination, and client payment applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project performance reports for management.
