Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Construction Inspector to supervise and perform roadway and bridge construction inspections in the Atlanta, GA area.

The role requires ensuring materials and workmanship meet project specifications, while documenting deficiencies and guiding junior staff in QA/QC practices. The candidate will act as SME on Developer activities, review contractor and IQF inputs, and ensure compliance with CQAP and GDOT standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation construction inspection incl. heavy civil/bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of plans, specs, and field testing procedures.
• Ability to work independently and supervise junior inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify deficiencies and document non-compliance with contract specs.
• Perform daily site visits to monitor work and materials.
• Mentor junior technicians and review their work for QA/QC.
