Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Director of Product Management for Bond Trading Technology to lead end-to-end delivery of trading capabilities used by traders and quants across the enterprise.

You will shape the product roadmap, align resources to high-value opportunities, and mentor a team of systems analysts while partnering with engineering, trading, and operations leaders to deliver value. A strong background in fixed-income markets and agile practices is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, product ownership, and/or product management with at least 4 years in a product manager/delivery team leader capacity.
• Bachelor's degree (or above) in a technology-related field.
• Excellent communication, organization, planning, and presentation skills.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining large, complex, dynamic products and solutions.
• Experience with Agile, Jira, and Jira Align.
• Investment management experience preferred; fixed-income trading experience a plus.
• Committed to developing a balance of business domain knowledge and technology skills to fully appreciate customer and product needs.
• Data-focused approach, regularly leveraging colleagues’ expertise to understand requirements, propose solutions, and measure results.
• Establishing unquestioning relationships across stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Articulating the key user and customer benefits of bond trading capabilities, functions, and features to support fixed-income business success.
• Developing product strategy, roadmap, and plans for development, delivery, and support.
• Translating strategic objectives into consumable, actionable plans and prioritizing work to accelerate value delivery.
• Grasping sophisticated product features and translating them into clear artifacts for shared understanding.
• Deriving epics and end-to-end workflows that can be broken down into user stories with defined business value and acceptance criteria.
• Track record of building highly engaged, hard-working teams focused on execution and capable of removing impediments.
• Effective at running fusions for estimating and planning large efforts, articulating project demands, risks, and roadmap impacts.
• Capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues on solutions, best practices, and tools without formal authority, and serving as day-to-day mentor for analyst team members.
• Innovative, intellectually curious, and a team player who continuously improves culture, process, and tools, encouraging an agile way of working.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end delivery culture, strategy, and execution for delivery teams, products, and initiatives.
• Defines and refines quarterly and annual missions, leads empowered teams, and manages product backlog to ensure priority clarity.
• Collaborates with engineering, program leadership, and business partners to deliver value and align resources to high-impact opportunities.
• Shapes product roadmap and communicates roadmaps, missions, and plans across stakeholders.
• Mentors a team of systems analysts in analysis processes, opportunities, and professional development.
• Ensures high customer satisfaction and production stability through measurement and process improvements.
• Partners with Bond Trading stakeholders and technology leadership to balance strategic and tactical solutions and ROI.
• Drives backlog refinement, risk mitigation, and delivery transparency across multiple delivery teams.
