Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in large, high-voltage battery pack development from concept through commercialization.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience developing and verifying Battery Management Systems (BMS) for high-voltage battery packs.
• Strong knowledge of embedded control software development processes for safety-critical applications.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink for model-based control development and simulations.
• Strong knowledge of CAN protocols (SAE J1939, CAN 2.0B).
• Experience with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 functional safety and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and cross-functional BMS engineering activities across the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with global BMS teams to develop architecture and requirements.
• Manage software development plans, milestones, and budgets.
• Mentor and lead BMS teams across software, hardware and validation.
• Ensure BMS integration with battery packs and external interfaces.
• Develop and maintain best practices for model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Oversee development of SOC, SOE, and SOH estimation methods.
• Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering culture.
