Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking an Insights Editor to scale blockchain intelligence content. You will lead end-to-end development of data-driven intelligence products, including reports, briefs, and blogs, while ensuring accuracy and editorial quality.

You will translate complex analytical work into engaging narratives for law enforcement, regulators, financial institutions, and the public, collaborating with analysts and data teams to produce compelling visualizations and de-risked content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, International Relations, Government, Economics, Security Studies, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 7+ years writing/editing data-driven content (investigative reporting, think tank/policy research, intelligence analysis, or similar).
• Exceptional command of English language; ability to simplify complex material without sacrificing accuracy.
• Demonstrated experience editing others' work for clarity, narrative coherence, and tone.
• Strong research and fact-checking skills; comfortable with quantitative and qualitative sources (OSINT, court filings, enforcement actions).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead intelligence product development from concept through drafting, edits, approvals, and publication.
• Write, edit, and de-risk content with TRM's voice, style, and risk guidelines.
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders across teams to identify impactful stories from data.
• Operate the production engine: manage plans, milestones, and editorial workflow.
• Deliver quick-turn reactive content on sanctions and crypto-crime developments on tight timelines.
