Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced analytics leader to drive end-to-end data initiatives, building scalable data platforms and predictive models. You will architect data pipelines, unify diverse sources, and ensure data quality while delivering decision-support visuals in Power BI.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in analytics, an advanced quantitative degree, and strong Python or R skills, plus experience with NLP, Databricks, and SQL Server. Power Apps familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of related analytics/engineering experience.
• Advanced degree in quantitative field or related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R for analytics and ML.
• Proficiency in SQL with SQL Server.
• Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark).
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts and data quality controls.
• Experience delivering Power BI visualizations and reporting.
• Familiarity with NLP, LLMs, and agent concepts.
• Experience integrating analytics into applications using Power Apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives from problem framing and experimental design through production delivery.
• Architect and implement scalable data solutions.
• Fuse disparate data sources and establish data preparation standards.
• Implement data quality controls and manage schema changes.
• Develop, evaluate, and deploy predictive models and optimization approaches.
• Support text-heavy and unstructured-data use cases with NLP methods.
• Deliver decision-support products through Power BI.
• Provide technical leadership and consultation.
