Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced analytics leader to design and deliver scalable data solutions. You will architect AI-enabled analytics, build semantic models, and drive adoption of best practices across analytics engineering.

Collaboration with software teams will be essential to power enterprise applications with analytics through APIs and event-driven design. You will mentor analysts, develop reusable data services, and deliver governance, data quality, and performance reporting to

Qualifications

• 8+ years of analytics experience developing business solutions with robust data assets.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics, conversational analytics, NL querying, or intelligent workflows.
• Experience applying software engineering principles to analytics solutions (CI/CD, automated testing, code review).
• Experience developing reusable analytics frameworks, semantic models, APIs, or shared data services.
• Experience integrating AI/LLMs into analytics workflows with major platforms like OpenAI or Azure AI.
• Experience with Python or C# for analytics automation or data processing.
• Experience building cloud-native analytics on Azure (ADF, Functions, Logic Apps, Fabric).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and modern cloud data platforms.
• Designing data products and enterprise-scale analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with IaC, DevOps, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Design analytics solutions following software engineering best practices for scalability and maintainability.
• Build reusable analytics components, semantic models, and shared data services.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted development, automation, and governance in Analytics.
• Collaborate with software engineering to integrate analytics into enterprise apps via APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Extract and interpret data to answer business questions and support initiatives.
• Develop reporting, analytics, and additional analyses to measure impact.
• Present complex concepts in clear, professional presentations to leadership.
• Develop dashboards and self-service analytics products for internal and external stakeholders.
• Enhance and migrate legacy assets; automate analytics workflows with AI-enabled tooling.
