Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Lake Ariel, PA is hiring Behavior Health Technicians (BHTs) for all shifts. This 40-bed residential facility provides detox and inpatient rehabilitation services, with round-the-clock supervision and a supportive recovery environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and CPR certification. If you are in recovery, a year of sobriety is required, and strong leadership and empathy are essential. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
