Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Lead Behavioral Health Technician for our Detox and Residential facility. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, ensure safety and compliance, and support client engagement to foster a positive recovery environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a minimum of one year sober if in recovery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications )
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
