Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at our detox and residential facility. You will manage daily operations, support the BHT team, monitor client engagement, and help maintain a warm, recovery-focused environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license ( CPR certification preferred), and a minimum of one year of sobriety if in recovery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
