Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Lead Behavioral Health Technician for our Detox and Residential facility. The third shift runs 11:00pm to 7:30am to support round-the-clock care and a safe recovery environment.

You will oversee daily operations, train BHT staff, and ensure compliance with all policies, maintaining client engagement and morale in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications, etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
