Avenues Recovery Center on Maryland's Eastern Shore is hiring BHTs for second and third shifts. This residential facility provides inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services with a strong emphasis on a supportive recovery environment.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a commitment to recovery principles. Join a team that values compassion, leadership, and professional growth within a comprehensive care program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsabilités

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
