Avenues Recovery Center in Prince Frederick, MD is hiring for a shift-based role supporting medical and clinical teams. You will assist admissions, transportation, meals, medications, supervision, and phones, while building rapport with clients in a supportive recovery environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and a commitment to recovery principles with strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all policies to ensure safety of clients and staff
• Record and accelerate any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
