Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field is required.
• Deep knowledge of battery cells, modules, packs, BDUs and BMS.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear, testable battery system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead battery programs from concept through design freeze, certification and production launch.
• Gather requirements from customers and define development loops using corporate tools.
• Lead architecture, sourcing, and make-buy decisions across the organization.
• Engage with cell, module, and pack suppliers and conduct design reviews.
• Collaborate with Battery Performance & Validation on testing and certification.
• Develop scalable battery architectures reusable across Caterpillar platforms.
• Develop project R&D and material estimates and high-level plans.
• Summarize risks and identify opportunities for improvement with partners.
