Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead development of manufacturing processes and battery designs for new product development at MECC for the Cardiac Rhythm Management business. The role requires working onsite at least 4 days a week to foster collaboration and growth, with travel under 10%.

You will partner with Design, Operations, Quality, and Reliability teams to develop battery processes, validate projects, and drive efficiency and yields in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years with advanced degree.
• Experience in battery development/manufacturing within a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes for batteries in a regulated industry.
• Design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during product development.
• Plan and execute process validation: OQ/PQ, TMVs and process release activities.
• Lead innovation and optimization of manufacturing concepts for transfer to operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet quality standards.
