• Ability to read and interpret 1st piece inspection/setup sheets.

Responsibilities

• Operate, tend, and maintain machines to produce lead acid batteries.
• Read specifications to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Follow sequences for machine operation via computer systems.
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths.
• Load material into machines, manually or automatically.
• Monitor machines to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Assist in setup, palletizing, packing, and transporting finished pieces.
