East Penn Manufacturing Company seeks a Design Engineer I to design battery components and tooling under mentorship, interfacing with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. You will contribute to process development and support production equipment, applying mechanical and plastics knowledge to tooling and machines.

Qualifications

• Typically, with less than 5 years of Engineering experience.
• Experience with the manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering support to Manufacturing, Quality, H&S, Sales, Costing, and Maintenance on Diversified products, equipment, and tooling.
• Prepare and deliver information, technical reports, and presentations to management, customers, vendors, and technical partners.
• Travel worldwide for the company as required (possibly up to ~25%).
• Interface with internal and external customers to develop new processes.
• Develop process specifications, setup sheets, and procedures for manufacturing processes.
