Qualifications

• Bachelor in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years in Electrical Systems Engineer or related electrical engineering role; DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM/DFA, DVP&R; high voltage Li-ion battery systems; CANoe/CANalyzer; data processing & statistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional engineering team on battery electrical systems architecture from a system-level perspective.
• Define and document the overall system-level electrical architecture and oversee verification of the electrical subsystem.
• Define electrical system requirements early in development, identify top technical risks, and champion design synthesis and concept verification within the complete battery system.
• Act as technical lead between customers and design engineers and collaborate with engineering design, prototype engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, validation/testing, program management, and business development teams.
• Develop external interface specifications for all electrical interfaces to the vehicle, system electrical architecture, system schematics, and internal interfaces.
• Lead electrical system integration meetings and ensure electrical components meet system requirements; represent electrical system functions in DFMEA; develop verification test plans.
