Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead Base Building Technician in Rialto, CA. You will oversee base building activities, supervise two technicians, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems across the building.

Key responsibilities include leading daily work, maintaining power distribution and HVAC systems, inspecting fire alarms and plumbing, and coordinating with client and supervisor staff. On-call for emergencies and light upgrades may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates in electronics or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; additional certs in electrical, mechanical, HVAC or refrigeration encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to run base building activities at the site, including task assignment and progress follow-up.
• Troubleshoot and maintain power distribution, branch circuits, lighting, transformers, and related wiring.
• Inspect and maintain life-supporting systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Perform PM on generators, compressors, water heaters, pumps, motors, valves.
• On-call duties for emergencies and after-hours coverage.
• Communicate status of projects to supervisors and coordinate with client.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company/site guidelines.
