Honeywell International Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Lead BAS Field Service Technician to oversee installation, commissioning, and service of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC controls. You will mentor junior technicians and coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires hands-on expertise with DDC controllers, BACnet/Modbus networks, and Honeywell platforms; a hybrid work model is offered at our Albuquerque location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC controls and BAS.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and BAS technologies.
• Experience programming and configuring HVAC control systems (DDC).
• Must complete pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to obtain DOD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC equipment.
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior technicians and subcontractors.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of HVAC control systems.
• Program and commission Honeywell platforms (Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI, Comfort Point).
• Ensure documentation, redlines, and as-built drawings are complete and accurate.
