Bald Birds Brewing Company in Jersey Shore, PA is seeking a Lead Bartender to run the bar's day-to-day operations, ensure drink quality and customer satisfaction, and lead by example in policy adherence and staff development.

This role oversees beverage innovation, inventory management, and staff training, with a focus on efficiency and team leadership in a busy taproom environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet PA requirements for serving alcohol.
• RAMP certification required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by Bald Birds Brewing Company.
• Previous bartending, taproom, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staff schedules one month out and coordinate with HR.
• Validate timecards and tip reports for bi-weekly payroll.
• Communicate company policies to staff and enforce them.
• Plan and update cocktail menus seasonally based on kitchen rotation.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts of liquor, mixers, and bar supplies; monitor par levels and minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar per health and safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Train and mentor bartenders and staff on drink prep, customer interaction, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor staff to ensure drinks follow recipes and meet customer expectations.
• Engage professionally with customers, vendors, and partners as needed.
• Maintain copies of licensure, certifications, and compliance documents.
