Job summary

SSA Group in Florida is seeking a Lead Bartender for a part-time, non-exempt role. The ideal candidate will bring strong craft bartending skills, leadership ability, and a guest-first mindset to drive memorable experiences for guests and team members alike.

The role conducts on-the-floor coaching, supports bar operations, and ensures adherence to safety and alcohol-service standards while coordinating with the Restaurant Manager and F&B team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of bartending in a full-service, high-volume environment.
• Experience in a lead/supervisory role preferred.
• Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.

Responsibilities

• Model warm, genuine service and uphold the 452 Hospitality standard during shifts.
• Coach and develop team members while acting as manager on duty when needed.
• Ensure bar is setup, stocked, and clean at start and during shifts; monitor quality and service flow.
• Assist with scheduling and break coverage to maintain appropriate bar staffing.
