Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register and handle payments.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to prep garnishes, glassware, and stock.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate POS and close checks accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar setup daily, stock beers, wines, spirits, and supplies per function sheet.
• Prepare garnishes, stock perishables, and ensure product quality.
• Greet guests, take orders, mix and present drinks per recipes.
• Comply with state, federal, and corporate alcohol serving rules.
• Enter orders into POS, balance cash and vouchers.
• Secure all beverage and equipment, and manage cash drops.
