HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Lead Bartender for The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection, in Virginia Beach. The role focuses on delivering hospitable service, crafting drinks to standard recipes, and maintaining a well-stocked, compliant bar area.

The position requires strong guest interaction, beverage knowledge, and reliability to work full-time on site in a luxury setting near the Atlantic Ocean.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Good guest communication and service orientation.
• Basic math for cash handling and POS transactions.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation and serving standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar setup and stock levels daily.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, mix and present drinks.
• Handle cash, process payments, balance cash drawer.
• Ensure compliance with state and corporate alcohol-serving rules.
• Operate POS to enter orders and generate checks.
• Lock and secure bar equipment and deposits as required.
