Drury Hotels Company, LLC in Montgomery, AL is hiring for a Bartender/Shift Lead to open and close the Kitchen+Bar, keep a clean, organized area, and provide hospitality to guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• One year of bartending experience required.
• Two+ years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of two years of college preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server or other positions as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable certifications per Company requirements.
• Ability to handle money and make change with cash transactions.
• Operate cash register and POS software; kitchen equipment as needed.
• Ability to deal with difficult situations professionally, including bar guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Open and close bar and maintain supplies.
• Prep cook and cocktail server duties as needed.
• Serve guests and promote Drury hospitality standards.
• Keep bar and kitchen area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory and stock as required.
