Job summary

Crafts & Vines LLC in Covington, KY is seeking a Lead Bartender to helm the bar, lead a talented team, and craft memorable guest experiences. You will manage shifts, mentor staff, and develop cocktails while ensuring exceptional service in a lively, welcoming setting.

The role requires 2+ years bartending with supervisory exposure, knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits, and a willingness to obtain TIPS certification. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years bartending experience with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of wine, craft beer, spirits and cocktail techniques
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid TIPS or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Must meet Kentucky state age requirements for serving alcohol

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through engaging, attentive customer service
• Serve wine, beer, and specialty beverages with accuracy and skill
• Lead, train, and mentor bar staff to uphold service standards
• Develop and update cocktail menus, seasonal drinks, and featured specials
• Monitor bar inventory and manage stock levels to minimize waste
• Ensure bar area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately
• Set weekly schedules for staff on our online scheduling platform
